Joey Fatone disses Backstreet Boys
You can call it the battle of the washed up boy bands. During a recent interview, former *NSYNC member Joey Fatone had some not-so nice things to say about former rival boy band Backstreet Boys getting back together to mount a reunion tour. He said, “I feel like they just need the money. No offense, guys. But I’m saying, if you think about it, it’s like, ‘Why are you coming back out again?’” Asked about the chances of *NSYNC ever getting back together to tour, Fatone said that at the moment there is “absolutely 100 percent no” chance of that happening.

Chelsea Handler hints at CBS deal
Is Chelsea Handler trying to tell us something? Amidst rumors she’s in talks about jumping ship to CBS, the Chelsea Lately host yesterday tweeted a picture with her dog Chunk that seemed to give us a clue about her future. In the pic, titled “business meeting,” Chelsea is seen holding a pile of CBS papers.  Earlier this month it was reported that Chelsea was planning to leave E! when her contract is up. There were also rumors she was in talks with CBS about doing a late night show on the network.

Miley Cyrus Was Hospitalized Due to An Allergic Reaction
Miley Cyrus was hospitalized yesterday in Kansas City due to a severe allergic reaction to some kind of medication.  She had to cancel a gig at the city's Sprint Center because of it.
I'm sure your first thought was that it was some kind of non-prescription "medication".  But remember, Miley had to cancel a show due to the flu last week, and a source says she's been battling major throat and sinus issues.
She seems okay though.  Last night she Tweeted a picture of herself in her hospital bed with a toy octopus, whose name is apparently "Mr. Octopussy".

Miley Cyrus Made $76.5 Million Last Year?
Just in case there was any doubt . . . SEX SELLS.  "Parade" magazine reports that MILEY CYRUS' questionably sexy but unquestionably sleazy 2013 earned her $76.5 million.  And "Fifty Shades of Grey" author E.L. JAMES somehow made an estimated $51.7 million.

49ers Linebacker Aldon Smith was arrested at LAX
It turns out you really CAN get arrested for saying "bomb" in an airport.  Just ask San Francisco 49ers linebacker ALDON SMITH.  Because it happened to him yesterday at Los Angeles International Airport.  Police say he got agitated while going through a security screening, so he told them he had a bomb.  He was probably a little drunk at the time.

"The Hunger Games:  Catching Fire" was the big winner last night at the "MTV Movie Awards".  It won Best Movie, and Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence won Best Male and Female Performance, respectively.  The show was pretty tame, although Rita Ora did rip off Zac Efron's shirt while he was accepting his award for Best Shirtless Performance.
