This Week's Wonderpets are...Baby, Socks and Scooter!
These three awesome kittens are living in the front lobby of the Kent County SPCA! Hard to tell them apart (it really is) because they are all the same brownish/tabby color with golden orange eyes! As a matter of fact, the three photos you will see below are all three cats taken individually...good luck telling them apart!
They are so cute and super playful!!! The front office staff gets hours of enjoyment watching them pounce and chase each other around their cage! But when it comes time for cuddles, they love being held and petted!
Now is the time to jump in on kitten and cat adoptions, as you can bring home either for only $45, which includes all age appropriate shots, microchip (plus first year registration), spay/neuter and a cardboard carrier for the ride home!
You can call in advance 302-698-3006 and ask about Baby, Socks and Scooter . The Kent County SPCA is located at 32 Shelter Circle in Camden, DE.

The Kent County SPCA has some exciting events coming up!
Rabies Clinics!
The following are the dates for upcoming rabies clinics. Please check back as more dates will be added. Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella and FVRCP (feline) vaccines are available for only $10 each. Microchips are available for only $20. Dog licenses are available as well. For more information, contact the Kent County SPCA at 302-698-3006.
September 11th at the KC SPCA from 10-Noon
September 18th at IG Burton in Seaford from 10-Noon
October 16th at the KC SPCA from 10-Noon
Pet Smart Adopt-a-thon Weekend, Sept 10th-12th
The Kent County SPCA will be on site at Pet Smart in Dover from September 10th-12th! There will be onsite animal adoptions, food, and education information. Oh – don’t forget the fun!!!
IG Burton Fall Adoption Event, September 18th!
Right after the Rabies Clinic that runs from 10-Noon, the shelter staff will be on hand with some wonderful adoptable pets who just want to call your home, their home! Check back for more details! This is at the IG Burton in Seaford, on DuPont Highway.
Night at the Races, September 19th!
The Harrington Raceway is being nice enough to work in conjunction with the jockeys and the horse owners to raise food for animals in need. Owners and riders will be pledging dollar amounts that they will donate per pound of food that the public donates! Check back for more details, but make sure you mark the date on your calendar!
