WoW!!!! I listen every morning and I've been racking my brain for the comment Petch made. Can you tell me what was said so I can comment on it. How bad could if of been, I'm sure more than half of your listening audience didn't think twice about it, I know I didn't catch it.

I think this whole thing is SO stupid...I can't believe people are calling in and saying how disappointed they are in you, Blah, Blah,Blah..if they think that their kids are hearing these things for the first time on your station...they are sadly mistaken..I have kids ages 5-9...and let me tell you they have heard these things and MORE on the bus. It's OUR job as parents to educate our children on what's right and wrong. There are so many bigger things going on in today's world, I think we need to focus on that and not what's being said on a radio station!!!! Get a grip people!!!!

I missed what was said yesterday but I know personally, my child has probably heard worse from the tongue of his own mother!! :] We all slip up sometimes….and what’s up with one of your own co-workers not defending you on air….guess I will be turning off my radio when Gary John comes on! If this really happened, I didn't catch it, because British slang is something I hear and use all the time; hence, it would not offend me.
Furthermore, if my child something questionable on the radio, I'd explain it.
Then again, what can anyone say that could possibly be that bad? My son is the one always saying, "Don't say ____ mommy!" And if someone talks about $ex, I don't care - I'd rather my son hear about $ex than see an act of violence!

I have no idea what Petch said and I don't care. Petch and Paula both work really hard for Delaware traveling to benefit us and help us. They raise money for different organizations, help people, etc. They are one of a kind and I haven't heard of another work so hard for their listeners. I absolutly love Eagle in the Morning with Petch and Paula. They make me laugh and they have variety. I truly hope that they come back. I doubt that I'll continue listening in the morning if they don't. And WHO cares where Petch is from, he's a person, he's human!!!

Wow! Well played! I tuned in this morning for the first time in a few weeks (nothing personal P&P - I've been listening to audiobooks lately) so I had no clue what was going on! Honestly, the thought never crossed my mind that it might be an April Fools prank until I logged on here. I'm impressed that they were able to get so many people in on it! Excellent!

Look there is enough war in this country with other countries we as people friends and families NEED to get alot. If you do not put them back on the air you will lose alot of listeners. I will be calling WBOC as I did for the group that is not coming back to fair this year. Petch would not hurt anyone. Put them back on air waves they are making you lots of money! The people who are calling in about wanting to pull their advertisement and people who are so crazy upset about it, need to really get over it. If more than 90% of the listeners don't even know what was said than who cares. Eagle listeners will not put up with this, including me. Boycot the studio sounds good to me... Unfortunately I was on my way to work when I first heard of all of this. What is going on? I do not know what could have been said that is so horrible. Lastnight, I was flipping thru TV channels and I came across some show that Ozzy and Sharon Ozbourn and their 2 kids. The part I saw was a spoof of when Ozzy and Sharon were little kids and then were at the movies, on a date. Obviously played by children that were no older than 10, every other word out of their mouths were bleeped out and it is not like you couldnt tell what they were syaing. This was on a nationally broadcast channel. I think people just need to grow up, because believe me, kids hear much worse, at school and from their friends. I certainly hope this is a April Fools joke because if not, like a lot of the bloggers, I will not be listening to this station anymore. GROW UP !

I hope this is an April Fools joke because I am right there along with the others. I will no longer listen to eagle and I will picket right up there with the others. Kids hear bad things all the time. Hearing a bad word once is not going to affect them for the rest of their life. There are so many other bad things going on out there that parents should be worried about affecting their children other than this little piddly thing. The management at the radio station should get a grip.

Hey Does anyone remember when Brook first started with Steve West and then he left, and then came Petch. When they let Brook go for whatever reason and there was no explantation at that time either. They pulled all her commerical ads off the air and anything that her voice was linked to. Petch and Paula make me laugh every morning. They are a great team!

I have a 13 and 10 year old who hear more stuff at school than you could ever think to hear on your show. I am very upset to think that soomeone would be so pissed at something so little that most of us have no clue of what happened. So it must not have been bad or all of these other bloggers would know what the hell is going on. I will NOT listen to this station any longer if Petch and Paula are removed. I listen to Petch & Paula every morning and never heard anything. What is it he said? Actually that doesn't even matter, you hear must worse EVERYDAY ANYWHERE around here be it in a school, the work place, a restaurant, or even the community park. In fact, 2 years ago, when our oldest teenager was 17 years old he turned his father and I onto this station. He programed our vehicles with The Eagle. I keep the radio on in the kitchen all the time because we all enjoy the music. We also keep it on for the dog and kitties when we leave to keep them company! Well, you all will be missed...your radio station has that perfect balance - something for everyone. I especially will miss the morning crew - you are all great!!!!
